I.                  Why is revelation necessarily God’s initiative?
II.                 How would you define revelation?

I.                      We are in a relationship with God. In a relationship, two things are required: Communication and Altruism. God loves us and God respects us. God does not force His love upon us. Instead, God, all loving and forgiving He is; made an integral action to remind us His love and presence in our lives. He revealed Himself in different ways, symbols, images and personas (predominately in the image of our Lord Jesus Christ) o remind us that we are not alone. That He’s always there, watching, stewarding and protecting us. Moreover, God does not want us to be evil. No parent wants their child to  get harmed. That’s why got has initiated, or took the first move to reveal Himself, His passion to help us. Revelation is God’s initiative.

II.                            Revelation may be defined as the integral communication by God to us human beings through means that are beyond the ordinary course of nature which are then studied by careful analysis then interpreted by Theology. The truths revealed may be such as are otherwise inaccessible to the human mind in which we commonly call “mystery”. If mystery is then made factual and has been constricted by definite knowledge it is then called “phenomenon”. God employs supernatural or natural means to affirm truths or to remind us of His loving presence and existence. The essence of Revelation lies in the fact that it is the direct indirect speech of God to man. Revelation does not cease to be such if God's message is delivered to us by a prophet, who alone is the recipient of His word.
